Eco System Homes was set up to feature affordable, self sufficient homes that have many high end architectural features for a reasonable price. Using standard sizes and innovative construction techniques, the designs feature passive solar design, indoor/outdoor spaces, clerestory windows, vaulted ceilings, and integrated green power. Water and energy efficient fixtures are standard, and there are a wide range of designs to suit any of today's modern lifestyles.
A dual occupancy featuring 2 eco houses on a steep sloping block, this project uses a pavillion concept to allow indoor/outdoor living while maximising the northern aspect of the block.
The Eco Dream Home brought together the best of traditional wisdom, modern design, and natural living. It was created to deliver greater abundance in the things that matter most: more time, lower living costs, fresh homegrown food, and access to clean water and air.
Designed to maximise the value of every dollar invested, the home became much more than a beautiful residence. It was conceived as a complete living system. By integrating food production, renewable power, water harvesting, and waste management into the design, the Eco Dream Home supported a truly self-sufficient way of living.

This 3 bedroom house uses our modular design system in conjunction with a factory based computer based panel system which achieved lockup on site in 2 days.
Originally a display home, this 4 bedroom design uses our modular design system in conjunction with a portal frame/structural insulated panel construction system to achieve the lockup construction stage in less than 2 weeks

We were commissioned to design a series of residences as part of the Midge Point Whitsunday Waters development. These were based on a steel frame construction using our modular design system which allowed remote factory based fabrication of the house frame for rapid construction on site.

Part of the Brookwater Development near Springfield in Brisbane West, Grandview Ridge is a boutique estate with steep sloping sites overlooking national forest. the residential designs were developed using a unique panel based modular building system capable of constructing to lock up in less than 1 week on site.
As part of a government tender, we were commissioned to develop a remote housing concept for the indigenous communities in the Cape York Penninsula. Having worked with indigenous communities in the past, we used this understanding to create flexible spaces that divide the private and public areas of each residence and creating open plan flexible indoor/outdoor spaces that can adapt to a variety of living arrangements. These designs were based on a rapid build panel system capable of achieving lockup in 2 days on site.
Set in the rolling hills of Doonan, QLD, overlooking Noosa Heads, the Flynn residence features exposed timber rafters, vaulted ceilings, and extensive clerestory windows. Self sufficient in water, sewerage, and power, the project uses low embodied energy materials wherever possible to create a beautiful residence thoughtful of both the environment and the future.
The Sustainable Concepts house incorporates one of our proprietary building systems and a host of self sufficient features like PV solar panels, solar hot water, multiple rainwater tanks, vertical axis wind turbine, water wise fixtures, energy efficient appliances, and lighting. The wide eaves, clerestory windows, cross ventilation, and courtyard design elements create a comfortable micro climate in the subtropics of Southeast Queensland. This house features the latest in environmental materials and product innovation and has become a showcase of Sustainable living at an affordable price.
The Sinclairs had lived in the same house for 35 years. It sits on a large site onthe North Shore of Sydney. The existing house is to be demolished to make way for their 'Dream Home.'

Located on the World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. We were Project Architect on this house which won the Master Builders Home of the year for the region.
The Williams had just purchased an old house on the ocean with the intention of renovating in the future. In order to have a way of gradually completing phases of an overall design, they requested a quick concept to have a grand vision to ultimately achieve. Freehand sketches were the preferred method of presentation to keep the fees at a minimum.
